Direct Gas Heated TSD
Standard Industrial Unit with Direct Gas Heat is used in stopping cold
drafts from entering a large opening while providing warm air produced
by direct gas heaters. The aire curtain pulls the air directly through
the flame of the direct gas heater. The TSD DG blankets the full length
and width of the door with warm air. The Standard Industrial Unit with
Direct Gas will discharge a temperature of 105° F, even if the entering
air temperature is 0° F. The TDG provides a maximum temperature rise of
105° F and can draw 100% inside air as long as the door is open. This
unit is commonly used where temperature is critical to maintain. The TSD
DG is recommended for doors ranging between eleven feet high and
seventeen feet high (anything lower would require a commercial TDG and
anything higher would require an EHD DG). The TSD DG has top and bottom
access panels to replace or service motors or blowers without lowering
entire unit or bottom half of unit. All units are direct drive, which
avoids misalignment of couplers and outboard bearings and eliminates
periodic belt replacement. The motor/blower plate comes out as an entire
piece and all parts on the outside of the unit are constructed of
stainless steel. Downloadable Catalog PDF files:
