Restaurant Climate Control (RCC)
Restaurant Climate Control is used in stopping cold or
warm air from entering a climate controlled environment. Available in
unheated and electrically heated versions, electrically heated versions
are constructed so the electric heaters are in the plenum, downstream of
the motors (Contact Factory for Restaurant Climate Control units with
Hot Water or Steam Heat and Indirect and Direct Gas Heat for additional
heating options). The RCC series is commonly used in restaurants, trash
compactors (odor control), and walk in coolers. Restaurant Climate
Control units are manufactured in single increments that can be provided
up to twelve feet long. All units are direct drive, which avoids
misalignment of couplers and outboard bearings and eliminates periodic
belt replacement. The motor/blower plate comes out of unit as an entire
piece. This food service line's stainless steel construction, powder
coated black stainless steel intake screen, and 45 degree beveled edges
