econo-power (ECP)

Used when cost is the overriding factor in selecting an aire curtain. The ECP is also a low profile aire curtain that is constructed of painted steel. They are available in two sizes that fit over 36 inch and 48 inch wide doors. The ECP is available in unheated versions only. econo-powers are equipped with unit mounted three speed selector switches as well as 7-1/2 foot cords that plug into a 120 volt wall receptacle, which eliminates the need for an electrician to install. All econo-power units will be shipped with a back plate for easy installation. Where longer lengths are required multiple units mounted in tandem are utilized. This is an "off the shelf" unit that can be mass-produced and sold at a lower cost with a faster lead time than that of a custom made aire curtain. Tangential blower wheels allow this unit to have a lower overall size.
