       What is an air curtain?                               

An air curtain is a thermal barrier that separates one environment from another. It does this by projecting a 'curtain' of downward moving air over the opening of a doorway. This wall of air reduces infiltration of air from one side to the other.
                                                                     Cold or hot air, flying insects, dirt, dust and fumes stay out. -- Warm or cool air stays in.
 

                What will a Powered Aire Curtain do for me?
  • Reduce wind and infiltration of outside air into heated or air conditioned areas.
  • Reduce annoying and unsanitary flying insects, dust, odors, fumes and other contaminants from entering buildings.
  • Conserve heat, enhance comfort and maintain temperature at docks while doors are open.

        Large overhead doors, dock doors, man doors, customer entrances, high cycle doors,                       cooler & freezer doors.
 
Powered Aire directs the blowers to the back of the unit, which creates a plenum-like effect. The result is a quieter performance and a very even air discharge'

                                  

Other manufacturers angle the unit's blowers so that they are blowing directly out of the nozzle. This creates an uneven discharge as well as additional noise.

                INSECT CONTROL                
 
The BCE and BCT Bug Control models are designed to deter flying insects and keep dust and other debris from entering an opening. The BCE and BCT are ETL listed for indoor use. They can be constructed and ETL listed for outdoor use upon request.

Model BCE: For openings up to 8 ft. high, unheated, 1/2 HP motors.

Model BCT: For openings up to 10 ft. high, unheated, 3/4 HP motors.

 TEMPERATURE/CLIMATE CONTROL                     
  Typical MP application areas: Toll booth and other small service windows, coolers and freezers, or any application where space is limited.  

 
 
Model MP is a compact 8.5 inches high and 13.5 inches in depth, which makes it perfect for openings with low height restrictions. Designed for openings up to 10 ft. high, the MP features variable speed, unheated or electric heat, and 1/5 HP motors. ETL listed.

Model ETD is designed to stop cold or warm air from entering a climate controlled environment. Designed for openings up to 10 ft. high, the ETD features dual speed motors, is available unheated or heated, and has 3/4 HP motors. ETL listed.

The TSD, EHD and BPA models are designed to protect dock door and other large openings in an industrial environment. These models have top and bottom access panels for easy access and maintenance.

Model TSD is for openings up to 17 ft. high. It has 3 HP motors.

Model EHD is for openings up to 22 ft. high. It has 5 HP motors.

Model BPA is for openings up to 30 ft. high. It has 7.5 HP motors.
